Congratulations to Bronson who had the training wheels taken off of his bike recently and is contemplating doing a jump off of a rock that is just outside the photo.  Yikes.. 

Violet has grown quite a bit..  She now can leap on and off of the ottoman.  This made the playpen obsolete because when I tried to put her in it last weekend, she took a flying leap over the fence and landed on the ottoman.  Where is a camera when you need it? 

We still keep part of the playpen up to protect electronics.  Our other milestone is that she is back to eating out of her bowl again.  We still like our little bonding ritual of me breaking up her little “chicken drum-stick” dog biscuits and feeding them to her piece by piece as she snuggles on my shoulder, but after hiding liver treats at the bottom of her kibble, she has decided she likes to eat out of the bowl again.  I can’t figure out what scared her away from the bowl because she uses a matching bowl for water.  Go figure…

I have been thinking about Mom a lot this week, she would have been 75 last Tuesday.

Violet has found a new napping location…  the top of the couch cushions. It doesn’t matter to her if I am sitting there, she just hangs her head onto my shoulder.  It is quite cozy…  until she starts snoring! 

The Ojanen cousins got together at a Twin’s game last night and a great time was had by all.  They are already planning their next get-together.

Ironically, Robin (on the far right) and friends attended the Braves vs. Reds game in Cincinnati last night.  Pictured with Robin are friends from school (University of Kentucky, Lexington) Megan, Stefanie, Leslie, and Marc.  The photo below is from Cincinnati; an open stadium like the one the Twins will have (big mistake as far as I am concerned).
