Violet and I attended the Pug Meetup Group this afternoon at the Woodland Community Center.  If you don’t count the 6 newborns that attended, she was the only puppy running and snorting around the joint.  She played VERY HARD for a bout 20 minutes but then the “big” dogs finally got the best of her and she came running for cover.  She got lots of attention and she looks forward to the April gathering.  Below is a slide show of some of the other dogs.

Violet is working up a sweat chewing on the skinny little rawhide chew toy that Auntie Lisa gave her last weekend.  It has even kept her from biting me!  Thank you Lisa!

 

Spring Fling was held in Brainerd last night.  We had a lovely visit and as usual some good food.  Sara is pictured here bonding with Violet.  After all the years of watching the children of my brothers and sisters, I asked them if they would watch Violet while I ran to the store to buy some soda.  When I came back, they reported that Violet pooped right next to Glen’s bed.  Payback?  I don’t know….

Shirley and Dad stopped over this afternoon to meet Violet for the first time.

Glen reports that Jessica’s dog Maddy is jealous of all the attention  that Violet is getting so here is a little something to make up for it.

After the post about Violet being a bad puppy she was an angel the rest of the evening, all cuddly and sweet.  And even more surprising, it continued until I left for work this morning so maybe I don’t have a devil puppy after all…

Violet is growing like a weed and she will soon be able to leap over her play pen walls.  She was being punished for her biting habits again although it doesn’t seem to make any difference!  Can’t wait for those Puppy Classes to start next week!
