Austen and I went on a tour of the winners of the Christmas Lighting contest last night. Our first stop was at the 1st place winner in the Lincoln Park area and while sitting there, five deer walked into the middle of the street. Three of the deer decided to get an up close tour of the lights and went into the yard. Austen took the camera and quietly approached the yard to take some pictures but a train went by (the viadocks are just west of the home) and scared the deer away. Bummer… It was almost creepy to see the deer in the display.. if you didn’t know better you would have thought they were fake, until they moved, of course!
