Sorry about the new log-in requirements..   my stats showed that I was getting a lot of strange traffic that would require I buy more bandwidth, and since this was meant for friends and family only I decided to require permission to view.  Once you sign up for a log-in, just mark "Remember me" and you won't have to bother signing in every time you view the blog...
