Donna’s and Harvey’s kids can’t get together very often so when they do they slip back into their childhoods.. ha ha!!  They are having a good time here..  Ryan, Rachel, Robin, Jason, Andrea, and Jay.

I met Donna and Harvey after work last night at Tejas to celebrate her birthday… which was on Monday.  We had a nice visit and a good meal.

Jane reports that they got a couple of inches of snow yesterday… it’s a good thing she has these helpers in her back yard!

Sara will be graduating before we know it so Tom and Lisa took her car shopping.  She is posing here with her new 2007 Pontiac G6, a smart choice.  Her family car will now go to Justin who claimed it for his own many years ago when it was new.  Of course when one is a newly licensed driver, it doesn’t matter what you drive, just so it runs!

My friend and long time hair stylist Sue sends this photo of her family at Christmas.  Pictured here with her are her long time beau Boris, his daughter Isabel, her boyfriend James and their daughter Lili.  And last but not least, Shamus the Setter and Owen the Bishon.  What a lovely family!

Ever wonder why the Edmund Fitzgerald didn't make it?  This is why we both LOVE and FEAR this lake!  Thanks to Elizabeth for sending me these photos taken aboard the Misener Steamships MV Selkirk Settler as she (the ship, not Elizabeth!) crossed Lake Superior in typical November weather.

Glen brought Emily back to Duluth this afternoon, it is hard to believe that the semester break is over, where did those holidays go??  Emily can’t move back into the dorms until Monday so she will keep me company for the weekend.

Arthur, son of Jeff and Meesoon Palmer of Birmingham, Alabama has been visiting in the area.  Gary and Tammy Palmer hosted a Pot Luck so that family could meet Arthur.  Many had not seen him since he was a little boy!  Below is a photo of some of those who gathered a few evenings ago.
