Ojanen Entire Group 1

The Ojanen Family gathered at the home of Mike and Lorene Enzmann in Cook, MN this afternoon.  Nearly 100 attended, some from as far away as Washington, Nevada, Colorado, Kansas, Michigan and Wisconsin as well as from all over Minnesota.  We had a wonderful time visiting and reminiscing.  Thanks to Mike Enzmann and Duane Palmer for sending some great photos…

Ann Jean Social Security

I had coffee with cousin Ann Kontio this morning.  Last week she sent me this photo of herself with her long time friend Jean Sarazine.  It was a special day for them; they had applied for Social Security!   They became friends at the age of 16 and Jean reports that their first big adventure together was taking the bus to Virginia to have their grad photos taken at McKenna Studios.

Thanks to cousin Duane for this great photo of another newborn.  It only seems appropriate with all the other babies I have been featuring lately!

Robins Wedding 009aWicked

This afternoon Sara and I went to see the musical Wicked at the Orpheum in Minneapolis.  We had a nice lunch with Kelly and Aaron and then Kelly chauffeured us to and from the theatre; how nice of her in the almost 100 degree heat.  It was a fun musical to see; comical and a surprise ending that was very pleasing.  I had read the book and the musical is VERY loosely based on the book.  My only complaint is that there is no leg room in that theatre; the play would have been so much more enjoyable with more comfortable seats.

Robins Wedding 004a

Elizabeth and Eli Graham stopped by yesterday afternoon for a visit.  Eli slept through most of the visit, that is how excited he was to see us!  We all took turns holding him and he still slept through it all!
