Jen sent some photos of her growing children; Josie has a little problem with wild hair!  Bronson is really into his bow these days.

Glen sent Jessica’s latest school photo, she is a Junior this year.  What a cutie!

Tom, Lisa, Sara and Jim were having dinner at Grandma’s in Hibbing last night when Kevin McHale came in.  He graciously agreed to have his photo taken with the lovely Sara.

Emily called this afternoon; she starts class tomorrow afternoon.  She had just returned from the grocery store and said that she spent some time translating common items before she went shopping.  She reports that it is VERY clean and very GREEN in that you do not dare NOT recycle.  She shares a dorm unit with 6 Swedish students; she has a private room but they share a kitchen and living area. Their TV has 10 channels, all in English with Swedish subtitles.  Many people ride bikes and the cars are small and very quiet. 

Emily left for Sweden on Monday; Glen, Bonnie, Dan and Kai accompanied her to the airport. Here she is with Dad…  Saying goodbye is tough..    I talked to her briefly yesterday, she reports that it is just like Northern Minnesota and so far she is having fun in the Orientation Program.

And Kai..  Kai left for Sweden today but will be up North, several hundred miles away.

Yep, the season is about to begin and I have Live Draft #1 tonight.  The Phonyguys have retired and my new team is The Avenging Violets..   I only have 4 teams this year, all live drafts which I am now addicted to.  Tonight we are really going high tech…   Tark is cranking up some draft software that he will project on his HDTV.  Draft #2 is tomorrw, #3 is Saturday afternoon and #4 is on the 3^rd.  Two of my teams include individual Defensive players, which adds a little more excitement to the game…   I sure hope Violet likes football!

Rachael and Ryan’s engagement announcement was in the Duluth paper this morning.  The wedding is in a few weeks, have you made your hotel reservation yet?
